"Forever 17"

It is with deep love and profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our Son, Brother, Grandson, Nephew, Cousin and Friend, Seth Sinclair, of Fisher River Cree Nation on Saturday, June 6, 2026.

Life of Seth
Seth was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on March 26, 2009, and was raised in Fisher River, Manitoba. Though his years with us were far too few, Seth filled the lives of those around him with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. He possessed a unique spirit that could brighten any room, a kind heart that welcomed everyone, and a wonderful sense of humor that brought smiles to family and friends alike.

To know Seth was to know joy. He had a gift for making others laugh, offering comfort when it was needed most, and reminding those around him to cherish life's simple moments. His gentle nature, caring soul, and infectious laughter will remain forever etched in the hearts of all who loved him.

Seth leaves to love and cherish his memory, his father, William Sinclair and special friend Diane Bear; his brother, Elisha (Kirsten) Sinclair, and sister, Hannah Sinclair; his mother Phyllis Sinclair; his biological parents, Andrea McKay and Chad Murdock; and his siblings, Jon, Chloe, Mia, Orlando, Chance, Ainsley, and Ava. Seth also leaves to cherish his memory, his grandfather, Frederick Sinclair; his grandmother, Florence Sanderson; his uncles, Ryan and Eric; his aunties, Sara and Roseanne; his special friend, Ryleigh Contois; and his Sinclair, McKay and Sanderson aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends whose lives were all touched by his presence.

Seth was predeceased by his grandmother, Kathleen Sinclair; his grandfather, Clifton McKay; his aunties, Valtina Sinclair and Stephanie Sinclair; and his great-grandparents, William and Betsy Sinclair, as well as, Clifton and Emily McKay; and George and Alice Sanderson.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Morgan's Warriors, Aboriginal Alert, the Winnipeg Police Service, the Winnipeg Fire Department, Fisher River Cree Nation Chief and Council, Jessica Contois, Trevor Sinclair, Josh and Shekinah Patterson, and the many family members and friends who offered prayers, support, kindness, and acts of love during this difficult time. Your compassion and unwavering support have carried us through our deepest sorrow, and for that we are forever grateful.

As a family, we take comfort in knowing that Seth's spirit will continue to live on in the stories we share, the laughter we remember, and the love he leaves behind. Though his journey on earth was brief, his impact on our hearts will last forever.

"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." - Matthew 5:4
