It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, foster mom, sister and friend, Linda Jean Semler of Moosehorn, Manitoba on July 26, 2026 at the Health Science Centre at the age of 79 years.
Linda is survived by her husband Herb; her children, Kim (Kevin), Karen (Bob) and Edward (Donna); her grandchildren, Cody (Celine), Justin (Marissa), Tyler (Breena), Aaron (Alysa), Kelsey and Logan; numerous great-grandchildren; her foster children, Alen and Mary Jane Sumner, Chelsea (Kat) and April (Trever) Cheekie, Noel Mongeon as well as many others; and by her sister Heather Brechin.
Linda was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Jean Wroblowsky; her sister Kathy Clapp and by her brother Walter Wroblowsky.
Linda has touched so many lives in her lifetime, always putting the needs of others before her own. Trusting God our Father who sits on high and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ surrounded in the love of the Holy Spirit. Linda deeply loved our Lord and Savior and she was a longtime member at Moosehorn Baptist Church.
Mom's pride and joy was all the children in her life. Memories that we all cherish, were the summers spent at the lake, it was always full of her kids, grandkids and her foster kids. Mom enjoyed capturing the moment, she was always taking pictures.
As per Linda's wishes, cremation has taken place and her family will plan a celebration of her life at a later date.
