It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our cherished babygirl, Latishia Young, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, auntie, godmother and friend. Latishia passed away peacefully with family by her side  on October 6, 2026 at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Latishia was born on February 23, 2004 at St. Anthony's Hospital in The Pas.  She was raised by her parents, Pierre (John Wayne) Young and Jackie Young in Easterville, Manitoba.  She attended the Chemawawin School.

Latishia cherished the company of her family and friends, especially with the nieces and nephews that she loved to tease and play with. Always bringing laughter, love and a little bit of mischief wherever she went.  She loved listening to music and made friends easily wherever she went.

As we grieve her loss, we also celebrate the light that she brought into our lives in such a short period of time – a light that will never fade.  She will be deeply missed by many who loved and knew her.  Tish will be forever in our hearts.  She had numerous friends throughout her childhood, whom she loved and cared for.
