Javen Lance Tilling, 29 years old, of Winnipeg MB, passed away on May 12th, 2026 in his room on Chudley St.
Born on September 3rd, 1996, in Winnipeg MB as the eldest of the five children of Erin Tilling, Javen grew up being loved for his now mourned gentle kindness, dedicated heart & mind, and his humour and contagious laughter by those closest to him.
He was proud to be known as a Father, an Uncle, a Son, a Brother, a Grandson, and a cherished Friend to all else who knew him.
Javen is survived by his son, Makoto Tilling-Dan, his niece, Evelyn Campbell, his siblings Zoey, Selena Tilling, Catherine Tilling-Bell & Brennon Campbell, Jasmine Tilling-Bell, and Ethan Tilling-Bell, as well as his Grandparents Margot Lavoie & Greg Dunwoody and Gayle Tilling & Ken Tilling, and is preceded by his mother Erin Tilling.
Funeral Service: Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish, 265 Flora Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba
Food and refreshments will be provided after the service in the church hall, prior to the committal service at Brookside Cemetery.
All who wish to be there to support him and his family and say a final goodbye are welcome to attend.
Interment: 3:00 p.m. at Brookside Cemetery, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Transportation to Brookside Cemetery will not be provided.
