With sadness we announce the tragic passing of our son, dad, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend.

Gabriel will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his mother, Evelyn Beardy; his children, Amelia, Gabriel Jr., Sebastian, Jerome (along with their mother, Serena Monkman) and Carson; grandson Jasiah; siblings, Marissa, Cameron, Evan Phoenix; nephew, Andre; nieces, Devikah and Janiyah; as well as the Sinclair family; aunts and uncles, Gerald (Lena), David (Monica), Brad (Melissa), Stuart (Jeannie), Terry (Lana), Patricia, Sarah, Emma, Cassie, Julia and Debbie; as well as numerous great aunts and uncles, cousins and many friends.

Gabriel was predeceased by his sister, Ke-anna; grandparents, Kenneth and Beatrice; baby Zayvion; uncles, Weese and Morris; aunt, Adrienne; and by his cousins, Sheila, Donovan and Draven and many other relatives.

Gabriel was a devoted father; he was the eldest son to Evelyn and was a provider and role model especially for his younger siblings and cousins. He loved to travel often going on trips with his closest uncle Brad and cousin Victor (whom he considered a brother). He enjoyed doing escape rooms to showcase his intelligence. He often got awards like Mr. congeniality and top academic performer. He was a fisherman by trade often going with his uncles and his good friend Junior, he also went rice picking yearly with his uncles.

He had many hobbies including playing pool, he was in an AActive coin pool league with his teammates, Melissa, Donna, Terry, and Evelyn. He went on trips to compete across Canada and the United States. He was a Jets fan and liked going to hockey games with one of his favourite cousins, Jules. He was a great cook and baker. He loved to joke around and was always checking up on his friends and family. He had a special bond with his aunty Pat too often checking up on her or popping in to share his latest news or send pictures of his kids.

He was referred to as Dr Gabe because he delivered his son in Lake St Martin. Gabe always had a smile on his face and would leave you with a smile as well. He had many close friends and family including his best friends: Desiree Ross, Tamilee Richard, Bradley Sinclair, Fern Sinclair, Ginger Sinclair, Dean Mousseau, Laura Beardy and Rachel Thompson.

The family would like to thank the Winnipeg First responders, HSC Doctors and Nurses, Gypsumville RCMP detachment, Lake St Martin Councillors, Chief Cornell McLean, SCO- Margret Swan, AMC- Grand Chief Kyra Wilson, Linda Achternaam, Rosanne Beardy, Ramsey Roulette and Tanya Anderson, David, Ida, Patricia, Sarah, Cassie, Emma, Julia, Brad, Stuart, Gerald, Hilary, Danielle

Thank you to my sisters and brothers for all their love and support, and for being with me through this difficult time.

A Heart Of Gold
A heart of gold stopped beating,
Hardworking hands went to rest,
God took you home to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
We will always remember the way you looked,
The way you walked and smiled,
All the things you did for us,
Will be with us all the while.
You lived your life for those you loved,
Your children taught and grown,
He called to you to come and dwell,
Where no more work is done.

You Meant So Much
By: Cassie Mitchell
You meant so much to all of us
You were special and that's no lie
You brightened up the darkest day
And the cloudiest sky
Your smile alone warmed hearts
Your laugh was like music to hear
I would give absolutely anything
To have you well and standing near
Not a second passes
When you're not on our minds
Your love we will never forget
The hurt will ease in time
Many tears I have seen and cried
They have all poured out like rain
I know that you are happy now
And no longer in any pain.
