'BigMan'
It is with the utmost sorrow that we announce the sudden and tragic death of our beloved father, brother, uncle and papa, Stewart Andrew McPherson (BigMan), who was just 66 years young. Stewart entered this world on January 25, 1959 to the late Allan and Elsie McPherson of Peguis as the ninth child born into a family of twelve.
BigMan will be greatly missed by his children, Deseree, Desmond (mother, Darlene), Skylar (Jennifer), Tyson and Twyla (Christian) (mother, Kathy), Cote McGinnis (mother, Leona) and Heaven (Miguel) (mother, Debbie); his 17 grandchildren; his 3 great grandchildren; his siblings, Brenda Cook, Betty-Ann McIvor, Ralph (Pauline), Carl (Lois), Glen (Darlene), Kelvin and Kelsey; sister in-law, Marge; foster-sister, Mabel Hutchinson; and his best friends, Doug McCorrister, Ronald Spence, Garry Bear and Doug McPherson (Buddy); cousin, Perry Hansen; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
BigMan was predeceased by his parents, Allan and Elsie McPherson; his siblings, George, Theodore, Bernice, Lorraine, Darlene and Edie; brother in-law, Robert Thomas; step-brother, Clifford Manningway; his good friend, Kathy Bushie; foster brother, Edward Prince; as well as numerous other relatives.
BigMan spent most of his years living and working in Peguis. He was one of a kind… his own person who loved travelling, adventuring, listening to music and spending time with family and friends in Peguis and Winnipeg. He had a very spirited and humorous personality that we can all remember, each to their own. He was a man who loved company and loved to laugh with the funny lifetime stories he had to share while enjoying his life to the fullest.
But most of all, BigMan had a kind and gentle heart. He was not judgmental and accepted who you were. He loved all his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and he wanted the best for each and everyone of them. He also loved his siblings and held a strong love for his pets.
You were a guiding influence, inspiration and mentor to many family and friends and you will be greatly missed and forever loved…fly high and journey well. Until we meet again.

Don’t Cry
Talk to me softly,
There's something in your eyes
Don't hang your head in sorrow,
And please don't cry
I know how you feel inside,
I’ve I've been there before
Something is changing inside you,
And don't you know?
Don't you cry tonight, I still love you, baby
Don't you cry tonight
Don't you cry tonight, There's a heaven above you, baby
And don't you cry tonight
Give me a whisper, And give me a sigh
Give me a kiss, before you Tell me goodbye
Don't you take it so hard now, And please don't take it so bad
I'll still be thinking of you, And the times we had, baby
And please remember that I never lied
And please remember how I felt inside, now, honey
You got to make it your own way, But you'll be alright now, sugar
You'll feel better tomorrow, Come the morning light now, baby
