Funeral Details
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dad, papa, brother, uncle, great grandfather, great great grandfather, nephew, cousin and friend, Allan Churchill
on February 5, 2026 at the age of 72 years.
Allan was born on January 8, 1954 to Ann and Donald Churchill in Ignace, Ontario. Allan grew up in Dryden, Ontario where he went to school and graduated. He was a fisherman tour guide, which he was very proud of. Allan held numerous jobs throughout his years. He moved to Manitoba, and soon after he had Harvey Paul, Marlene Paul, then years after, Tammy. Mary came into his blessed life.
Allan met his wife and married Wanda Churchill and remained married for 28 years before she passed. Wanda and Allan shared many children and they moved to Peguis, Manitoba in 1997. After his wife’s passing, he moved to Winnipeg, where he lived his remaining days and years with his children and grandchildren.
Allan loved to joke and laugh, he enjoyed making new friends, not a day went by he didn’t meet someone new. He always had a way of giving nicknames to all his grandchildren. Allan was a very funny, loving man, with great family values. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by us all.
Allan was predeceased by his wife, Wanda Churchill; his son, Harvey Paul; grandson, Dustin Baker; many of his sisters, Marlene (Andy) Pelletier, Barbra Churchill, Virginia Churchill and Iris Churchill; brothers, Mickey Churchill and Donald Churchill; his beloved parents, Ann and Donald Churchill; as well as numerous other relatives.
Allan leaves behind, his brothers Sam (Denise) Churchill and Lawrence Churchill; brother in-law, Douglas Michell; sister, Christina (Deana) Churchill; along with all his numerous cousins, brothers and sisters he held dear to his heart; all his children, Tamara (Darrell) Sanderson, Mary Starr (Stan), Victoria Michell (Bruce), Annie Halvorson, Marlene Paul, Allan Churchill Jr. (Ashley), Gordon Michell (Arlene); all of his grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and all his babies (was his favorite thing to say).

In Tears
In tears we saw you sinking, We watched you fade away,
You suffered much in silence, You fought so hard to stay.
You faced your task with courage, Your spirit did not bend,
But still you kept on fighting, Until the very end.
God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not to be,
So He put His arms around you, And whispered, “Come to Me.”
So when we saw you sleeping, So peaceful, free from pain,
We could not wish you back, To suffer that again.
It Broke Our Hearts To Lose You
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
Though your smile is gone forever,
And your hand we cannot touch,
We will never lose the memory,
Of one we loved so much.
Thanks for the loving years you gave us,
The happy times we shared,
We all pray that when you left us,
You knew how much we cared.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.
